“I’ve always tried to [tell the truth],” Hillary Clinton said during an interview with 60 Minutes’ Scott Pelley. It’s the same response I gave as an undergrad when my parents asked if I was drinking at parties. “I mean, I’ll try not to drink, and as best as I can recall, I have mostly fulfilled that promise.” My parents weren’t buying that bullshit then, and I’m not buying hers now. What do you mean, “try”? Can you not see her chatting with her girlfriends: “Gurl, I’m trying to be honest but THE STRUGGLE IS REAL, know what I mean?” Bitch, this isn’t the inner turmoil over whether to eat the whole pint of Haagen-Dazs (not that it’s even a dilemma, because OF COURSE you eat the whole g-d pint, you’re only human). This is about your honesty to the American people. Why do you have to fence-sit on whether you’ve lied as a public official? This is NOT A HARD QUESTION. Scott Pelley threw you a softball, and you blew it big time.
Shut up, Jeb. Seriously though, I encourage everyone to watch the 60 Minutes interview I’ve linked to above. It’s pretty – revealing.
Damn it Jeb!
